I've been experimenting with a new range of abstract art after attending Flora Bowley's online classes. Thanks to the internet I've been able to train with, and paint from my country town in Australia, without travelling anywhere, with top art teachers all over the world.

I was really taken with Flora's beautiful intuitive painting style and when I found her Brave Intuitive ecourse, I signed up straight away. About the course...

The next session of ‘Bloom True: the e-course’ will run for five weeks starting on January 26, 2015, during which time you will see the evolution of three two original paintings from start to finish.

Professionally filmed in HD and shot on location in Flora’s Portland studio and home, the course will provide encouraging step-by-step guidance for painting as only YOU can, as you bravely let go of fear, embrace intuition, find your own style and open up to a new world of creative possibilities.

This is an online course with lessons posted daily, Monday-Saturday, for five weeks. The password-protected classroom will be accessible to you 24/7 from anywhere in the world (and for six months after class finishes), so you can dive in whenever it suits you. I discovered Shiloh Sophia's beautiful artwork a few years ago, and decided to sign up to participate on on her Divine Spark course. On that course I painted the Divine Presence painting, and went on to study and paint for a while with her Red Madonna group.

This weekend, (January 2015) Shiloh is offering an online class called Visionary Woman free... you are invited to join in... oh and... you don't need to know how to paint to join in.

Creativity Project for 2015 - Project 365

What one thing can you do to increase your creativity this year?
Not sure? Well, how about taking a photo a day?

Most of us have camera phones these days, so no excuses not to add
a little creativity into the day or night for that matter.

I heard about Project 365 last year, and I have to say

I went close to achieving the 365 days of taking photographs.

This year I'm going to take part again, and I'll see how I go.

A lovely fresh new year to start again... If you like art journalling and are looking for connection with some like minded people to join in for the year ahead, there is a group called Journal52 on facebook. I joined last year and did a few of the prompts and really enjoyed the connection and energy of the group there. This week's prompt is pathways.

What I love about art journalling is that you get to just have fun... not to have to create a masterpiece that you want to hang on your wall, the art can be as child-like as disjointed or as gorgeous as you wish. It's all yours.
